The Pyxis System is a payment API. It attempts to provide an easy, consistent interface to allow Jonas Software Partners the functionality they need for their payment processing needs. The system’s purpose is abstract partner companies from the complexities of interaction with disparate and changing payment gateways and payment processors.
This document describes the real-time transaction API for POS and recurring payment processing. Other systems for batch processing and other functionality will be presented in other documents.
