A sale, capture or authorize transaction is generally settled within twenty-four hours of its creation. If you wish to cancel that transaction, you can call void. After settlement, voiding cannot take place and you must use refund.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON PARTIAL VOIDS: Partial voids can be requested in certain circumstances and with certain configurations. Your partner configuration must allow them and the processing gateway that will be used for a transaction must allow it.
