The Pyxis system has the ability to allow you to use branded and non-branded debit cards with the transaction APIs. In the current implementation, debit cards will be charged as credit cards in “card not present” transactions.
When operating in “card present” mode, the terminal may or may not have the functionality necessary (for example, prompt for PIN) to use the card as a true debit card; please consult with Constellation Payments if you need this functionality.
